The same pet always hatches the same Familiar. Two pets that look alike still hatch different ones, because the identity underneath is different.

Your Familiar stays with you for good. It can't be sold. It isn't listed on the Open Market and can't be traded away.

The Familiar is an extension of your bond with a real animal, never a replacement for it.

What do I need to hatch a Familiar?
Your Familiar hatches from a pet on your Petso account. The app walks you through adding one. Then open Petlings in the Petso app and hatch it.
Which of my pet's details are used?
Species sets the shape and the recorded coat colour sets the main colour. Everything else comes from a one-way code of the pet's Digital ID, so no personal details are shown in the creature or on this website.
Can I hatch again to get a different look?
No. A pet hatches its Familiar once, and the same pet always hatches the same Familiar.
Can I sell or trade my Familiar?
No. Your Familiar stays with you for good. Other Petlings you catch can be traded and sold on the Open Market.
Is the website demo my real Familiar?
No. The demo uses sample pets. Your real Familiar hatches in the Petso app from your own pet's Digital ID.
